The Real Housewives New York Star Luann de Lesseps Announces Divorce

The much talked ‘Real Housewives Of New York’ cast member has announced end of her marriage. Luann de Lesseps tweeted Tuesday to be divorcing husband Tom D’Agostino.

Her Twitter message earlier today read, “It’s with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce. We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!”

The couple was learned just week ago to have fought while dining at the Le Bilboquet restaurant in Manhattan. If believed to one report, the Countess slapped her husband across the face amid the fight.

Desiring privacy seems to be a unique concept by the reality TV star as fans know the participants are far from fading flowers insisting on being left alone.

There is in fact hardly anything left unseen or left unsaid about the two.

Luann earlier had married French entrepreneur Alexandre de Lesseps in 1993, but both divorced in 2009. She started her career as a licensed practical nurse in Connecticut and simultaneously also as a Wilhelmina model.

Apart from appearing in The Real Housewives on New York City she has guest starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

She has even authored a book titled Class With The Countess: How To Live With Elegance and Flair.

She sings too and released her first record in 2010 titled Money Can’t Buy You Class. Her second single was released in 2011 titled Chic, C’est La Vie.
