Holland, Michigan is a small city along the shores of Lake Michigan. It is approximately fifteen minutes away from the city of Saugatuck, thirty minutes from Grand Rapids and about a forty minute drive from Muskegon.

The Country Inn of Holland offers ideal lodging for tourists visiting Holland during its annual Tulip Time Festival. It is within walking distance of Dutch Village (one of Holland’s most popular tourist attractions), Windmill Island, the Holland Outlet Center and Westshore Mall. In addition to being close to these destinations, one can also walk from the hotel to several restaurants, coffee shops and a movie theater. Finally, because the hotel is so centrally located, it is just a few minutes drive from Hope College, downtown Holland, the Amtrak Station and the Holland State Park.

Rooms at the Country Inn Holland

Guests lodging at the Country Inn Holland have the option of a room with two double beds, one king or a suite with a two person whirlpool tub. Adjoining rooms or rooms with sofa sleepers are also available. Each room comes standard with cable television, a coffeemaker (with complimentary coffee), hair dryer, complimentary bath and body products and high speed internet access. For an additional fee, one can also have both a microwave and refrigerator placed in the room.

Amenities at the Country Inn Holland

For one’s leisure and convenience, there is a small indoor pool, library and business center on-site. Each morning, guests can also enjoy a complimentary buffet style breakfast in the hotel’s meeting room. Some items on the menu include yogurt, bagels/cream cheese, waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal, donuts, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and an assortment of juices. Additionally, throughout the day the hotel provides freshly baked cookies and complimentary beverages in the lounge area.

Out of towners may find it difficult to find this hotel. It is located just off of US31, but is somewhat hidden behind the Holland Outlet Center. U-turns along the highway also make it complicated to access the hotel. If traveling south on US31, be sure to move to the left hand lane once by the Westshore Mall. This will allow for a u-turn just about a half block pass James Street. After making the u-turn, make a right on James Street. Turn right into the access driveway for Dutch Village and the Holland Outlet Center. Make a quick left and then a right (just past Carter’s outlet). Continue traveling south; the hotel is straight ahead. If traveling north on US31, simply make a right on James Street and follow the same directions to the hotel.
