Alphabet To Trade From Monday, Google Officially Becomes its Subsidiary

Alphabet will start trading from Monday and with this Google becomes a subsidiary of the newly formed company. The search giant briefed this on Friday through its investor relations page.

The financial results of all the subsidies under the umbrella of Alphabet is said to be disclosed next year in January.

The other subsidiaries of Alphabet catering to Google include YouTube, Android and Google’s online advertising business. The new umbrella will also oversee subsidiaries like Google X, Google Ventures, Google Life Sciences, Google Capital, Nest and Calico.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the co-founders of Google, will be serving as the CEO and president of the new company.

Even being under the Alphabet umbrella, it is said Google’s code of conduct will remain the same largely. However, Alphabet will also have its own code of conduct in order to ensure they can continue promoting compliance as well as great values.
