Amid Fresh Warnings from US, North Korea Tests Short-Range Missile

Amid the military exercises between South Korea and United States, the North Korean missile is latest in a series of weapon launches by the country.

The North Korea views the military exercises, that to run until late April, as an invasion rehearsal.

United States President Barack Obama met the leaders of the two countries to issue warning. He also met Chinese President Xi Jinping to implement economic restrictions against Pyongyang.

Earlier this week on Tuesday North Korea fired a short-range projectile that prompted media speculation in South Korea as the missile crashed in land that may be purposely done to test accuracy of its weapon on a land target.
