US Geological Survey data reveals the quake was 6.2 miles deep and was centered 32 miles southeast of Perugia.

Data received from National Institute of Geophysics and Vulcanology (INGV) reveals the quake was at a depth of 8km in Pieve Torina (Macerata) and was of 4.8-magnitude scale.

The earthquake was mostly felt in the Marche region, reports Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

Local firefighters didn’t receive too many phone calls. Most of the calls were inquiring about the quake.

According to civil protection Marche section, no initial reports of collapses or emergency situations have been received and they will check the area for new damages at the first lights.

Italy was struck with 5.5 and 6.1 magnitudes double quake on October 26 and those were followed by another of 6.6-magnitude last Sunday.

The Sunday’s quake was biggest in past 36 years in the country. It reduced to rubble historic towns in the Apennine mountains. About 15,000 people were displaced too.
