BREAKING: Nawaz Sharif’s wife Dies in London
Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, breathed her last Tuesday at London’s Harley Street Clinic following prolonged illness since June 2014. In August 2017 she was diagnosed with early stage of lymphoma (throat) cancer.
Sharif and his daughter Maryam are currently in a Rawalpindi jail in Pakistan.
According to Geo TV the former first lady was placed on life support earlier today after her health deteriorated further.
Death of the 68-year-old was confirmed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shebhaz Sharif and her son Hussain Nawaz.
Since 2017 she had underwent seveal surgeries and five chemotherapy sessions.
Kulsoom and Nawaz were married in April 1971. They together have four children – Hassan, Hussain, Maryam and Asma.
