CDC adds further about 45 people have been fallen ill and 43 of them had eaten at the outlets of the burrito chain. A total of 16 people have been hospitalized too due to the infections of E. coli germs. No death has yet been reported.

Meanwhile, the shares of Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants have been reported dropped to an 18-month low by about 12 percent to $536.19 on Friday.

The Chipotle E. coli outbreak has also changed the tastes of people with demands for more fresh food and less processed food.

The source of food contamination is not perfectly known but some investigators are in view the meats served in the restaurants were undercooked as high heat kills E. coli.

The first few cases of Chipotle outbreak was identified in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon outlets and on October 31 the firm shut down all the 43 outlets in the areas.

However, now the outlets are reopened but under certain conditions including replacing of their produce as well as cleaning thoroughly the eateries.
