Go live on the social network. Facebook has made it easier. It has made much easier with support for live streams from PC too. People can now broadcast live video from any corner of the world from desktop or from laptop. Earlier it was only possible through a mobile device.

Facebook is also learned to be expanding support for external hardware for gamers and help in the streaming of software like the XSplit, Wirecast and OBS.

Earlier such streaming was only possible from a Page, but now users can do so from profiles as well. This will benefit people in sharing screens, switch cameras, insert graphics and more in the Live videos.

Facebook Product Manager Erin Connolly said, “If you’re a gamer, this new feature makes it easier than ever to stream your PC gameplay to friends and followers and engage with them while you play.”

In a blog post Facebook Software Engineer Jeff Hendy wrote, “If you’re giving your friends or followers a tutorial or how-to guide, you can incorporate on-screen graphics, titles, and overlays. Or if you’re an artist, you can go live and switch seamlessly between cameras as you narrate the process.”

The process for live broadcast is easy. It just requires a click on “Live Video,” which can be found on the top of news feed. The next step is to follow the prompts to add description and choose audience.

Connolly and Hendy said the company wants Live as enjoyable and interactive.
