French Men Involved In Paris Attacks; Plotted In Belgium

Three French brothers from Belgium are believed to have carried out the deadliest Paris attacks on Friday that killed about 150 innocent people, reveals initial findings.

The 26-year-old Salah Abdeslam is described as dangerous and one of his brothers was killed in the attack and one another is in detention in Belgium.

Initially it was said there were eight attackers responsible for the three-hour massacre, but later it was updated only seven of them died. One attacker was killed by police shootout and other six by blowing themselves up.

The French President Francois Hollande initially said the Islamic State has been behind the attacks and later it appeared a network of men planned extensively outside the country.

According to French interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve, the men “prepared abroad and had mobilized a team of participants located on Belgian territory, and who may have benefited — the investigation will tell us more — from complicity in France.”

Two vehicles which were used in the Paris attacks is said to have been rented in Belgium. One vehicle, a gray Volkswagen Polo, was abandoned near the Bataclan center, the location where about 90 people were killed while enjoying a rock band. The other vehicle, a black Seat Leon, was found in the eastern Paris suburb of Montreuil.
