German police has arrested on suspicion to link with recent Paris attacks an arms dealer from Germany’s southern city of Stuttgart on Tuesday.

It is not yet confirmed whether the 34-year-old Germany citizen sold the four assault rifles used in the French capital attacks on November 13 that killed 129 innocent people and injured about 300 others.

According to spokesman for the prosecutor in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the man taken into custody is into arms trading. The four assault rifles including two Zasatva M70s made in the former Yugoslavia and two AK-47s made in China were sold online by him to an Arab descent.

The investigating team has got access to the e-mails on the suspect’s smartphone that reveals the man was in touch with an Arab in Paris.

German authorities are supporting all the European efforts in the manhunt of those who are involved in the atrocity. One prime suspect, French national born in Belgium, Salah Abdeslam, even after two weeks of the attacks remain at large. Meanwhile, threats of additional attacks are on rise.

German police has arrested two other men too as part of the operation after finding potentially dangerous device in their car.

The device has been sent to forensics experts.
