Gionee M6 Listed On TENAA Certification Website; Unveiling On July 26

Listed as GN8003, the Gionee M6 smartphone today received TENAA certification and now all the ways are paved for the unveiling of it at an event to be held on July 26 in China.

From the website of the Chinese certification agency it is revealed the device to sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen of 1080p resolution and to be powered by a Snapdragon 652 chipset (4x Cortex-A72 and 4x Cortex-A53 cores). The device is to equip 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, which cannot be expanded with microSD.

The Gionee M6 to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and learned to be mounted with a 13MP and 8MP rear and front cameras respectively.

Fueled by a massive 5,000 mAh battery the phone is to come with a fingerprint sensor. The phone measures 152.3 x 75.3 x 8.4 mm.

It is also being speculated Gionee may unveil a bigger sibling on the phone on the same day. It is dubbed as Gionee M6 Plus. Specifications are still not known about the second device.
