Microsoft To Launch Cortana For Xbox One In 2016

Cortana, the digital assistant from the house of Microsoft, is reported to be arriving on the Xbox One gaming console next year, in 2016. However, a prevew tester will be made available later this year.

The tester will ensure Microsoft the experience with Cortana is turned for gamers ahead of the public launching, said spokesperson Larry Hryb.

Cortana was launched first in Windows Phone 8.1 mobile operating system and later it was built for the Windows 10 OS. The next arrival to the Xbox One is the most logical move for the tech giant.

Meanwhile, it is yet to be known what Cortana for Xbox One will be able to do. Will the spoken commands travel via the Kinect controller to the console?
