Munich Mall Shooting Ends; Lone Gunman Shot Himself; 9 People Killed

The Munich mall terror shooting rampage has ended leaving 9 people dead and 21 others injured, said Germany police.

Only one gunman instead of three was found after police searched for attackers. It is said the man killed himself on a side street near to the Olympia shopping mall.

Based on surveillance video and witnesses the police Chief Hubertus Andrae concluded there was just one gunman and not three as earlier believed.

The attacker is yet to be identified. He was an 18-year-old German-Iranian and is believed to have lived in Munich for at least two years.

No terror group has yet claimed responsibility of the attack. Motives of the gunman are not clear and he was not known to police too.

One witness said the attacker shouted “Allahu Akbar” and started killing the children sitting to eat at the restaurant and can’t run. People were confused and started running and screaming.

Earlier this week a teenager stabbed passengers on a German train. He said to have been inspired by ISIS. Police shot him dead.

Prior to the train incidence, a large truck drove through crowd in Nice, France, during Bastille Day celebration. More than 80 people were killed.
