Offer: Microsoft Slashes Xbox One Price To $249

Price drop. Microsoft has dropped the price of its Xbox One. The gaming console is now made available at half of its launch-day price – just $249.

The offer is perfect those gaming enthusiasts who may not be interested in the upcoming Xbox One S or the HDR color capabilities and 4K of the console.

However, the discounted price is just limited period dubbed as Summer Sale. The machine will come with a 500GB hard drive and one game of one’s choice from several including Quantum Break, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Rise of the Tomb Rader, Rare Replay and Forza Motorsport 6.

Earlier, in May this year, Microsoft slashed down the price of its Xbox One to $299, just before the E3.

Again, during the E3 event the price was further slashed down to $279 and it was believed to last through October 1.

Xbox One was launched in late 2013 with a price tag of $499.

According to experts the 50 percent drop in gaming console machine is unusual, and not until the version is in the market for its fourth or fifth year.

However, it is not to forget now the Xbox One has become cheaper than Wii U, which is being sold at $299 equipped with a 32GB hard drive along with a bundled game.

Sony’s PS4 gaming console is currently priced tagged $349 after getting discounted.
