WHO is to start Ebola vaccination in Sierra Leone and about 200 people are to be given the shot. The move comes after the death of a 67-year-old woman on Saturday who got in contact of the virus.

WHO To Vaccinate 200 In Sierra Leone To Prevent Ebola

The woman from Kambia district died after five days last Ebola patient was discharged from hospital.

The country has also begun with a 42-day countdown to declare it Ebola-free. Last time an Ebola case in Sierra Leone was reported on August 8.

According to Margaret Harris of WHO, the organization will be vaccinating those people who came in contact directly to the deceased.
