Tanzania has set up a new travel visa office to allow applicants and documents to be handled centrally collected from all over the country along with simplifying the process for the citizens opting to visit Israel.
Experts believe the new move will further strengthen relationships of the country with Israel..
On November 4, Friday, Embassy of the State of Israel in Nairobi is learned to be opening an Israeli Visa Handling Center in Dar es Salaam in a function between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Numbers of pilgrims to the Holy Land may hike in future and hence the new infrastructure would be able to handle the process with ease and encourage additional travel to Tanzanians.
Ambassador of the State of Israel is reported to be visiting Dar es Salaam for the event and will also be available for interviews to media.
The official inauguration ceremony will be held at the Kibo Hall of Hyatt Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
Meanwhile, it is important to know the country assisted Israel during UNESCO Jerusalem resolution recently.
