People of the nuclear-armed nation voted for the formation of their new government at the center late last month and rivals have been claiming Khan received clandestine aid from the military.

It is learned several party workers have revealed how a phone app helped them in getting an edge. It helped in increasing supporters amid the government’s own telephone information service suffered problems on elections day.

Khan’s party surpassed expectations and won 115 seats out of 272 and while the party of ousted and jailed Nawaz Sharif just managed to grab 64 seats and stand as the second largest single party in Pakistan.

Known as Constituency Management System (CMS), the phone app was developed by a small tech team and proved as a key response to the party’s complaints following the previous general electionsn when Khan failed translating mass popularity into votes.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of Sharif was hurt by internal divisions among the party members and his campaign was rather more erratic.

Khan said, “I have seen and experienced how it (app) words and I’m using it in all five constituencies I am contesting… The faster you (PTI candidates) apply this system, the easier your life will become.”
