Boxing Icon Muhammad Ali Dies At 74 ~[R.I.P.]~

Former world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali passed away Friday aged 74 after suffering for long from Parkinson’s syndrome that impaired his speech and made a prisoner in his own body. A day before he was admitted to a Phoenix-area hospital complaining respiratory ailment.

Fans poured out in great number their grief in remembrance. His daughter Rashea Ali said he was the greatest man that ever lived and now he is in a better place with no suffering.

Ali added her father was a Humble Mountain and has gone home to God.

The best-known figures of the 20th century had also been an activist apart from being a three-time heavyweight champ. He spoke out against racism, religious intolerance and war intolerance as well. He possessed unshakeable confidence and humor. He was a model for many African-Americans at the height of civil rights era.

Boxer George Foreman said Ali was one of the greatest human beings he have ever met.

Foreman lost to him in a classic 1974 bout in Zaire.

A 28-year-old construction worker Delson Dez said the world has lost an icon.

Don King said its a sad day for life and Ali will never die.

King had promoted some of the biggest fights of Muhammad Ali.
