BREAKING: Explosion In Turkish Capital Ankara; 20 Killed, Dozens Injured, Hospitals Seeking Blood Donors

Turkish capital Ankara has been rocked by at least one bomb explosion outside the main train station where people were gathering for a protest march planned by labor unions and aid groups protesting the conflict of the country with Kurdish militants.

At least twenty people have been killed from the explosion and graphic pictures from the scene on local TV channel showed several bodies covered by flags and placards.

The blast was very powerful, says Turkey’s largest news outlet Anadolu Agency. It shook nearby highrise buildings.

Hospitals in the area treating the seriously wounded patients are also reported to have appealed for blood donors.
