BREAKING: Fire At London Zoo. Are The Caged Animals Okay

At least seventy firefighters and ten fire engine have been employed to tackle blaze at the iconic London zoo.

The London fire brigade was informed at around 6.08 a.m. Saturday about a fire in a café and shop at the London zoo.

According to fire brigade chiefs the fire is now under control after two hours of the deployment of fire engines and firefighters.

Images on Twitter show huge flames and smoke billowing from the building.

“It was quite dramatic – the flames were lighting up the sky,” said firefighter Paul Wood.

He added, “The fire broke out at around 6 a.m. and firefighters started squirting water at it. The flames are out now but they are still squirting water.”

Meanwhile, witnesses said air near to the spot was thick with smoke and they could get smell of burning plastic.

Jokingly Quoting

This is the perfect time to see whether the elephants can put off the fire by sprinkling water with their trunks.
