Pakistan Not to Fight War of Other Country: Imran Khan

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said they will not fight wars of other countries and asserted that from beginning he was against war.

Addressing to the Defence and Martyrs Day ceremony Khans said foreign policy of his government will be for the best interest of Pakistan. He also talked about the sufferings and devastation caused by war on terror.

Adding further at the Army headquarters in Rawalpindi the PM said the role of Pakistan’s security forces and intelligence agencies was unparalleled in making the country and no other country has fought war on terror like them.

In his speech he talked about investing in human capital too like building hospitals and sending children to schools. He said, “The government will bring meritocracy and transparency in all sectors by following the golden principles of state of Medina.”

Khan said Pakistan is a country rich in minerals with four seasons and diverse topography. It is the time to work honestly and make the country great.

About division between military and civil administration he said both were on same page in terms of issues faced by Pakistan and there is no political interference in the Army. It is run on merit.

Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said the country has paid a lot for war on terrorism and has learnt a lot too from past wars – 1965 and 1971.

He added it is important to wage war against poverty and hunger.
