The rally was held at George Square and demonstrators were seen waving Scottish flags as well as flags of Spanish region of Catalonia and carrying banners that read ‘Yes,’ meaning to gain independence from UK.

Currently Catalonia too is fighting to cut ties with Madrid.

The Scottish police said there were about 3,000 demonstrators marching for the freedom of their land from UK.

All Under One Banner group organized the rally. They said such marches will continue until Scotland gains independence.

Meanwhile, a new poll was conducted by YouGov to collect opinions of people whether Scotland would remain in UK or gain independence to be a part of EU bloc following Britain has voted for Brexit (exit from EU).

The poll found 53 percent of the respondents want Scotland to be a part of UK and 47 percent are seeking for independence.

YouGov rep Matthew Smith said, “One month after the UK’s shock decision to leave the EU, the latest YouGov research in Scotland shows no real shift towards independence.”

Share your own views too whether Scotland should gain independence and be a part of a bigger economy rather than limiting itself to UK.
