The American pop singer, dancer, actor, author and producer James Lance Bass announced his sexuality in 2006 on the cover of People magazine and in 2013 proposed his boyfriend Michael Turchin.

He received media attention with his announcement and the reaction of public was positive. In 2006 he was awarded Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award though. Human Rights Campaign stood in his favor against critics saying he is the biggest music star since Melissa Etheridge.

The American actor, comedian, magician, singer and composer Neil Patrick Harris announced him being a gay in 2006 saying he is proud being a content gay and live his fullest life. He later confirmed his relationship with David Burtka and in 2010 revealed both were expecting twins through a surrogate mother.

In 2011 he announced via Twitter his five-year-old engagement with David until same-sex marriage became legal. In 2014 both married in Italy that was officiated by director Pamela Fryman and Elton John performed at the reception.

Born as Enrique Martin Morales, the singer, actor and author revealed in 2010 about his homosexuality saying he is proud and fortunate homosexual man. In 2011 he publicly thanked boyfriend Carlos Gonzalez Abella after receiving the Vito Russo Award at the 22nd GLAAD Media Awards.

Martin’s relationship with Abella ended in 2014. In 2016 he started dating Syrian Swedish painter Jwan Yosef and later the same year both announced their engagement.
